Deep effect despite flat implementation of an engraving - a case for 3D-LaserEngraving.

Sometimes you can't do one without wanting the other. So what do you do when you need to achieve shallow engraving but want the effect to be like a deep scar? Let's start from the beginning: an engraving usually consists of the tip and the vein, which are connected by the edge. With the process of 3D-LaserEngraving, engravings can be developed in a very refined way. In this process, different fine engravings are placed in the tip and vein, for example, to produce a contrast; because in general, dark veins simply appear deeper. Using this trick, engravings that appear like leather can be made flatter and seem to have a natural depth. It would also be conceivable to create partial gradients and, as the engraving becomes increasingly flatter to reinforce the fine structure in the vein.

At this point, a dialogue with KRÜTH should be sought to discuss  aesthetic requirements and technical feasibility.
